It is absolutely safe for women. There is a backup dorm facility for extreme weather events. Clean washrooms & basic first-aid is available. All hikes are easy-paced and in most cases doable by people of all ages. Any activity that involves venturing into reserve forests is done with the required permission.

The campsite is surrounded by an electrified fence. CC-TV cameras are installed in public areas. A full-time caretaker is available for any help during your stay.

The campsite has been registered with the Tamilnadu Tourism department and the proper registrations have been completed.

The tents are waterproof and can withstand heavy rain. Our campsites also have backup shelter in case there are extreme rains.

There are Army-style tents that can accommodate 4 guests per tent. Dome tents accommodate 2 – 4 people.

As a thumb rule carry personal medication, if any, Torch Lights, Insect repellants, Good comfortable walking shoes, reusable water bottles, Flip Flops, Caps / Hats & sunscreen.

If you are camping during winter please bring thick jackets.

If you are camping during the monsoon do carry raincoats/rain jackets, umbrellas, spare socks, etc. Wear comfortable outdoor clothing and avoid jeans which could be uncomfortable when wet.

Yes, the campfire is set up every evening during camping.

Since camping is an outdoor activity, there will be insects. Do carry an insect repellant and as a thumb rule always keep your tents secured/zipped when you are not in the tents or when you go off to sleep. Not even mosquitoes can enter the tents if it is completely zipped. We usually do not have mosquitoes issue at the campsite.

Yes, the campsite is safe and kid-friendly. We have outdoor games like badminton, cricket, football, and indoor games along with a swing set for their entertainment.

 Since the campsite is closer to wildlife areas we don’t generally encourage getting pets in the interest of guests and the pet’s safety.

All camping gear like Tents, Sleeping bags / Blankets, Bedding, and all activity-related gear will be provided.

In the interest of your safety, consumption of alcohol and smoking (in common areas and within tents) are strictly prohibited.

You can bring your own tent however the tariff would be the same and there will be no reductions/discounts when you bring your own camping gear.

There are proper, neat Western Toilets with water separate for Ladies and Gents. Separate bathing rooms are also available. Hot water for bathing is available on request.

The campsite is a secured, fenced property and equipped with electric fencing. Wildlife encounters within the campsite are extremely rare. 

All hikes are easy-paced and in most cases walkable by people of all ages. Please enquire if you have any special request at the office when you check-in.

We provide Vegetarian Lunch, Dinner, and Morning and evening snacks. Non-veg BBQ and other items are available for order at The Hobbit Garden Restaurant on-site.

Our campsite & camping experiences provide wonderful, offbeat options for team outings, workshops, and outbound training. They offer a perfect mix of outdoor experience & just enough comfort to make for a refreshing time out. 

There is a minimum of 6 pax required for booking. If you bring your own tent you can stay as a solo camper.
